It is when we think we know it all is when we know the least.  Many think the Bible is just a book of rules and regulations.  That is why they don’t read it.  We can know all the rules and still miss the main point.  Western thinking likes to put things in boxes and put a bow on it.  Western thinking can make the Bible all about theology.  Theology is good, but the Bible is really a Book of Covenants.  Sadly, we try and make it fit into our theology. 

God’s Word has a lot of information about relationships.  Relationship between God and His people.  The Bible is not just a manual for how to live our life, but a love story on redemption.  The Bible is a story on how a covenant keeping God made a covenant with His fallen creation to be able to bring them back into eternal relationship.  Interestingly, God knew we couldn’t hold up our end of the bargain, so He sent His Son to do it for us.  The strongest relationship on this earth is a covenant relationship.
