Have you ever missed out and had to go without?  Your mom called you for supper and you chose to finish what you were doing instead of coming to eat.  Back in my day, we couldn’t pause the TV or even record it.  You show up at the table 30 minutes later and all the good chicken is gone.  All you get is a scrawny little wing.  The breast, leg, and thigh are gone and everyone else at the table has a smile of contentment on their face. You then give your mom a nasty look for not saving you a piece of the good chicken.  She says, “well honey, I called you”.  This is where my generation came up with the term, “snooze you lose”.  Basically, you have just missed your moment.  The same can be true when it comes to the blessings of God.  Missing your moment has nothing to do with love but has everything to do with blessing.
