Can you keep a promise?  We would probably say we can.  Have you ever broken a promise?  When we break promises does that mean our word is no good and we can’t be trusted?  I think we have all probably broken our promises to God.  We didn’t start out meaning to but in the end we couldn’t hold up our end of the deal.  Fortunately for us, God knew that.  God knows how to keep a promise.
