Nothing like a new year to be able to get things back on track. I love the idea of a fresh start. Do overs are hard to come by…… but not with God. I believe God is the God of do overs. The movies tell us failure in not an option, but in the real world failure happens. Some life lessons are harder than others and take a larger toll. As we enter this new year let it be a year of new beginnings. As pastor here at River-Life, I feel the Lord leading me to proclaim that 2016 is going to be the “Year of the Spirit”. We are going to either introduce or reintroduce ourselves to the 3rd Person of the Trinity, God the Spirit. He is on the earth today leading and guiding and making things new.
