Suffering is temporary but joy is eternal.  We get it turned around sometimes.  We think joy is temporary and suffering is eternal.  If we are going to break the cycle, we need to learn the principals of faith.  God has given us all we need to overcome.  Joy is a weapon that we can use to overcome the evil one.  That is why I believe there is power in joy.
