Today we celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the signing of the armistice of the WWI. World wars are hard to understand sometimes. In a perfect world, we would all get along. But the fact is we don’t live in a perfect world. We live in a fallen world that has some evil people who inflict pain and suffering on the innocent. That is why we need a military. That is why we need brave men and women to answer the call to put on a uniform. Being a soldier can have some real dangerous times. But one thing they have that many don’t, is that they are in a brotherhood. A brotherhood that knows the person to the left of them and the person to the right of them will always have their back. The church can learn a lot from that.
