Even though we are born again and a new creation in Christ, there is still the old nature that tries to rear up its ugly head in our lives. This old nature is referred to as our flesh. Fortunately, God gave us another option to live by. Instead of deeds of the flesh, we can live by the fruit of the Spirit. This fruit is operated by grace and is at our disposal 24/7.
